The College is governed by a ten member Board of Trustees. Five trustees are selected by the Schenectady County Legislature, four by the Governor of New York, and one is elected by the SCCC student body each year. The Board holds a committee meeting and a regular meeting each month at the College, on the third Monday of the month. The SCCC Board of Trustees for the 2011-12 academic year includes:
