EMS 210 - Basic EMT-D 

This course is designed to meet New York State Health Department (Bureau of Emergency Health Services) requirements for Emerency Medical Technician training.  This course is updated yearly to include all materials appropriate for EMT training as included in the New York State EMS program CFR/EMT/AEMT student manual.  The course sill adhere to the SCCC/REMO EMT sponsor's agreement and all current requirements for class time instructor certification.  Students should note that some Saturday sessions are mandatory in addition to regularly scheduled class hours. 

Must be at least 18 years of age

EMS220 - Refresher EMT-D

This course is designed to meet New York State Health Department (Bureau of Emergency Health Services) requirements for EMT Refresher.  New laws, policies, and protocols will be discussed, as well as new technology appropriate to the course which has been introduced during the past three years.  The course will adhere to the SCCC/REMO EMT Sponsor's agreement and all current New York State regulations for EMT training, including requirements for class time instructor certification.  You will take a challenge written and practical exam at the begining of the course.  If you succesfully complete these exams you will be exempt from attending many or all of the classes. 

PR: Current Profesional Rescurer CPR card 
       Must be at least 18 years of age 

CR: CPR card must remain current through the end of the course
