With over 600 delegates from around the world, CRWTC staff and their Hudson Valley International Trade Association delegate made valuable contacts for its members in one of the world's fastest growing economies during the World Trade Centers Association's 36th General Assembly this past September 20-23. The four-day event was hosted by World Trade Center Shanghai. Business matchmakings took place in various locations throughout the entire week of the Assembly.

Jan Smith, Manager of Global Communications & Public Affairs of GE Energy, who was also our Keynote Speaker at the 2005 CRWTC Awards Celebration, assisted us in arranging a speaker from GE Energy, Shanghai for the China Business Forum, held on the third day of the Assembly. Kent Hoots, Director of Asia Sourcing, GE Energy kept the audience amazed by the story of GE's rapid success in China's energy sector.
