New York State Senator, Hillary Clinton wishes David Besozzi a bon voyage

 

David BesozziDavid Besozzi, adjunct History instructor, will be leaving his classroom and family behind to spend 2 1/2 weeks in Kazakhstan, a former Soviet republic located in Central Asia northwest of China, as part of a prestigious exchange program through American Councils, an international nonprofit exchange organization, funded in part by the U.S. State Department.

According to an article recently published in the Saratogian, "Besozzi was one of only 36 teachers in the country awarded the U.S.-Eurasia Award for Excellence in Teaching, which provides nationally-recognized teachers in the humanities, social studies or language arts the opportunity to improve the educational quality of and create cultural linkages with countries in the region."

"David and two other teachers, one from New York and one from Texas, are scheduled to leave for Kazakhstan on October 13th and return on Halloween."
