University in the High School Program Expands

Several new high schools are joining the ranks of those offering the College's University in the High School courses this Fall, including Albany High School, Scotia-Glenville High School, and Berkshire Farms.

chartLast Spring, SCCC's UHS courses served 225 students, and it is anticipated that this Fall's offerings will draw more than 500 students.

SCCC is not alone in offering "concurrent enrollment" courses at high school extension sites, and our program is actually among the smallest. Finger Lakes' Gemini Academy serves 1400 students; Corning's ACE Program serves more than 1800 students; Genesee's ASP Program serves 2100; and Monroe's Dual Credit program serves more than 4000 students annually!
