Richard Rose Selected As the 2003 Recipient of the Henry Toll Fellowship

Richard Rose, adjunct History Instructor, has been Selected as the 2003 Recipient of the Henry Toll Fellowship through the Council of State Governments.

The Henry Toll Fellowship Program is the premier leadership development program for state government officials.

According to the Council of State Governments website, "The Toll Fellowship program was founded in 1986 on the premise that if states are to meet tomorrow's challenges, they must prepare for them today. The program is named for Henry Toll, a former Colorado state senator and founder of The Council of State Governments 66 years ago, who believed that the states are true laboratories of democracy and are, therefore, the best source of insight, ideas and innovations."

"Each year, the Toll program brings the states' best and brightest emerging leaders to Kentucky for an intensive five-day "intellectual boot camp" to develop the next generation of leaders from the three branches of state government. "

Richard works for the New York State Weapons of Mass Destruction task force.
