CRWTC Members Participate In"Capitaland 2005: Going Global" TV Special


Several Capital Region World Trade Center (CRWTC) members participated in a town meeting-style discussion covering Trade, Communities and Lifestyle as part of a TV Special produced by WMHT Ch. 17 and WNYT Ch. 13 in partnership with the Times Union.

Lydia KulbidaTimes Union Editor, Rex Smith and WNYT News Anchor, Lydia Kulbida (right) led the discussion, which was part of a program featuring global activities in the Capital Region. The graphic segments include a tour of Fortitech, Inc. in which CRWTC member Walter Borisenok, President, describes Fortitech's reasons for going global.

The TV special kicked off the "Capitaland 2005, Going Global" three-part series of Sunday Times Union supplements that began Sunday, March 2, 2005. Look for many more WTC member companies in the upcoming Capitaland 2005 sections.

A look at this TV special and the Times Union sections should leave no doubt that the Capital Region has a presence in the global marketplace. These stories cover the scope of that involvement, what the future holds for certain sectors and concerns that individuals, businesses and institutions in our region should bear in mind about the rising global economy.
