Non-Credit Programs Generate
Record State Aid


         Following the trend established last year, Fall 2001 non-credit state aid figures eclipsed similar figures for previous years. The GED, ACHIEVE, Employment Skills Training, and Career Readiness programs continued to produce consistent numbers. But the real showstopper continues to be the new Introduction to Workplace Skills program, which has been approved by the U.S. Army for Tier I Status. By itself, "Tier I" generated more than 44 annual FTE's during Fall 2001!
