Through a SUNY Community College Workforce Development and Training Grant, SCCC is providing leadership and team building training to Sealed Air Corporation of Scotia.

Ten Sealed Air employees have participated in pre-course assessments and are currently involved in 20 hours of training and follow-up, meeting once a week. Employees address obstacles and work together to improve and understand processes. The program will improve individual and team performance and discuss issues including problem-solving techniques, improved customer service, both internal and external, increased involvement and accountability, and effective communications. Employees working within their teams will increase their team's ownership with higher standards of performance resulting.
