Cooking for Children

Come and join Chef Gail Sokol for a hands-on, culinary camp and learn culinary secrets that only chefs know. This camp is for the serious young chef who will learn how to bake scrumptious goodies and delicious entrees that they can sample and take home to friends and family. Family members are welcome to enjoy our goodies on the last day of class.

The course will focus on healthy cooking and baking. Young chefs will learn about nutrition and what is "good" fat versus a "bad" fat. Kitchen chemistry will also be taught.

Both entrees and desserts such as Angel Food cake, Fudgy chocolate cake, Panzanella (an Italian bread salad), Chicken Fried Rice, and Lasagna will be prepared.

Young chefs are asked to bring their favorite aprons.
