University in the High School
Globe and Books
Julianne Joslin, like many SCCC students, is thankful for the University in the High School program, which helped her get a jump-start on college credits before she even graduated from high school. She took College Composition and Introduction to Literature while she was a student at Mohonasen High School. Those six credits were ready and waiting for her when she enrolled here at SCCC, and they saved her time and money. (continued)

Non-Credit Spring Courses At SCCC

Schenectady County Community College (SCCC) offers its students and the community the opportunity for professional development or personal enhancement through the Division of Continuing Education's Non-Credit schedule. Students are offered a variety of non-credit courses in areas such as Computer Technology, Children's Courses, Music, Recreational, English as a Second Language, and General Interest. (continued)

Saying Goodbye to Euclid Rose
Euclid Rose
On August 5, 2004, the Division of Continuing Education wished Euclid Rose a fond farewell as he left SCCC for other academic pursuits. Euclid is currently Professor of Political Science at CUNY and Director of the CUNY Center for International Studies.  (continued)

2004 Excellence in International Trade Awards Dinner

The Capital Region World Trade Center hosted the 2004 Excellence in International Trade Awards Dinner on November 17th in partnership with the Global Business Network (GBN). The event was a success with nearly 200 attending in recognition of area business leaders involved in international trade. (continued)

Bridge: A Success Story
GED Diploma
Tonia Thomas was enrolled into Schenectady County Community College's Bridge Program on October 2, 2002. In the two years since many things have changed for Tonia. She has come in and out of the Bridge Program and we have seen her both suffer setbacks and achieve great success.  (continued)
