The following test policies apply to all Microsoft Office User Specialist exams and are implemented by Schenectady County Community College. 1. Testing is held at the SCCC Campus Elston Hall, room 315. 2. You must provide two valid forms of identification upon arrival at SCCC. One form must be a photo ID such as a driver's license, passport, etc. the other can be any one of the following: social security card, voter registration card, birth certificate, etc.3. You may not use notes, manuals, laptops, or any other printed or electronic aid during the test. 4. Test results show whether you passed or failed the test. If you failed, the appropriate proficiency guidelines are displayed to help you improve your abilities. 5. Arrive on time. Once the test time begins, you will not be allowed to enter the room. 6. Refunds from SCCC are not available for failing test scores or for missed exams. 7. Refunds are not available from Microsoft. 8. Cancellations are accepted up to 3 days prior to the exam. 9. If you fail the exam, you may retake the exam at full cost at a later testing date. 10. The Specialist designation is not transferable to any other individual or organization. 11. Candidates are recognized for the product and level achieved and you must represent your achievements accordingly. If you misrepresent your status, you forfeit all program benefits, privileges, and Microsoft designations. 12. All exams offered through the program are based on specific Microsoft Office products and versions. As new Office products become available, the specialist program will be updated.
