Systems Analysis and Design

This course places emphasis on a disciplined approach to software development using the application of software engineering principles. Students will be provided with a step-by-step introduction to software development. This course will introduce the student to the software development life-cycle, including a general overview of a typical business-oriented software system, the analysis of the system, an approach to the design of the system, and a plan for system testing and future maintenance. Students will work collaboratively on a business computer information systems project encompassing all phases of the software development life cycle.
