Western Civilization to 1715
This course is a survey of the evolution of Western
Civilization from ancient times to 1715.Emphasis is on
identifying and analyzing the major cultural practices,
ideas, and institutions that form the heritage of Western
Civilization. Attention also is given
to interactions with non-Western cultures.
