Planning, Assessment and Treatment
This course is designed to introduce students to the major theories and methods currently employed in the assessment and treatment of substance abuse and addiction. The student in the course will examine procedures by which a counselor/program identifies and evaluates an individual's strengths, weaknesses, problems and needs which will be used in the development of a treatment plan.
