Alcohol and Substance Abuse: Prevention/Education
This course will focus on prevention education as it relates
to the individual, family and community in general. It will
highlight the major role substance abuse has played in
lowering productivity and increasing absenteeism in the
workplace, soaring health care costs, and escalating crime
and violence in families and communities. It will present
the significance and application of substance abuse
prevention education at various levels from pre-schooler
to adult.
