Course Description
MAT149 Topics in Finite Mathematics (3-0-3)

This course introduces the student to topics in finite math with applications to business, social sciences, and/or life sciences. Tolpics include functions, linear functions and mathematical models, the Method of Least Squares, systems of linear equations and matrices, linear programming, sets and counting, probability, probability distributions, random variables, expected value, and Markov chains.
