Jazz Harmony and Accompaniment III
This course provides continuing development of the concepts introduced in MUS 108. The styles to be studied include swing, bebop, Latin, funk, blues and jazz rock. Composers whose works will be studied include Parker, Davis, Hancock, Ellington, Gillespie, Monk, Kern and Gershwin.
