Jazz Improvisation II
This course provides continued development of the skills introduced in Jazz Improvisation I. The music of Ellington, Parker, Coltrane, Gershwin, Corea and Kern will be used to analyze and perform chord scales, modes, arpeggios, harmonic substitutions, and the formal structures of the jazz idiom.
