Theory III
Theory III builds on the concepts of Theory II and covers
two-voice eighteenth century counterpoint, extended and
chromatic harmony (extensions, borrowed chords, Neapolitan
6th chords, augmented 6th chords, and altered dominants) and
sonata form. The course begins with a review of the basic
concepts of Theory II.
