PSY 221(3-0-3) Educational Psychology This course is designed to introduce the student to major concepts and principles in the field of educational psychology that form the foundation for learning and instruction. The course will examine the relationship of human behavior and the educational processes including cultural influences, processes of learning and socialization, classroom management, development, intellectual functioning, and educational achievement. It is designed primarily for teachers-in-training to understand and apply selected aspects of psychological research and practice to enhance teaching and learning in today's changing classrooms.
