Early Childhood Education: Curricula and Methods
Students are introduced to a variety of educational settings and professional roles found in the field of Early Childhood Education. Students will have an opportunity to learn the theoretical background in Early Childhood Programming as well as the practical application of the theory. The course will emphasize the teacher's role in creating, developing and implementing programs for young children. Throughout the course students will be challenged on their knowledge, understanding, organization and creativity in Early Childhood Programs. Each student will be required to design and present to the class a lesson, lesson plans, visual aids, an assessment plan and a final report.
