Schenectady County Community College offers asynchronous distance learning courses through the Internet with the online ANGEL course management system. The term “asynchronous” indicates that a student is able to go online at any time of the day or night, seven days per week, and work toward to completion of course requirements. Online courses at SCCC adhere to the same academic calendar and policies as courses utilizing traditional formats. Credits earned via distance learning courses are fully transferable and carry SCCC residence credit. Note: Distance Learning fee is $12.00 per credit hour in addition to normal tuition.
