DEGREE AND CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS
SCCC's Humanities and Social Sciences Department offers three kinds of academic programs: transfer programs, career programs, and certificate programs.
The department's transfer programs serve as the first two years of baccalaureate programs at "senior," or "four-year" institutions of higher education. In addition to their general ease of transferability, several articulation agreements exist for these programs between SCCC and various colleges and universities, which assure graduates of these programs not only full acceptance of their degrees, but also seamless integration of their SCCC coursework into that at the receiving institution.
