Ellis Hospital School of Nursing / SCCC
Joint Program

The College cooperates with the Ellis Hospital School of Nursing in offering an Associate in Science degree in nursing, which is jointly registered by the New York State Education Department. Under this 21-month program, students prepare for professional registered nurse licensure by enrolling in biological and social science courses at the College, and in nursing courses at the School of Nursing. Graduates of this program have historically ranked very high on the New York State licensing examination. Prospective students should make application through the Admissions Office of the Ellis Hospital School of Nursing (518-243-4471). Prerequisites for the Ellis program need to be completed prior to enrollment in the Nursing Program.
