The A.S. in Science at SCCC

The science curriculum has been designed for students who wish to complete the baccalaureate degree and closely parallels the first two years of four-year college programs. These programs include, but are not limited to, forestry, environmental studies, landscape architecture, pharmacy, nutrition, nursing, and physical therapy.

This program includes a great number of electives and provides students optimum flexibility to design a program to meet individual transfer needs. It is strongly recommended that students in the program work closely with their academic advisors when registering for coursework.

Through special articulation agreements, graduates of this program may enter a variety of programs at public and private four-year colleges and universities. Graduates are ensured admission to a senior college of the State of New York system, provided application deadlines are met.

Suggested Two-Year Sequence
