Program Specific Admissions Information
Accounting and Business Applicants.Applicants who have taken courses through the American Institute of Banking or General Electric Company's Manufacturing Studies Program may be eligible for non-residence transfer credit. Interested applicants should refer to the Non-Residence Credit and External Transfer Credit sections.
Assistant Chef, Culinary Arts, and Hotel and Restaurant Management Applicants.Where it is deemed appropriate by the School of Hotel, Culinary Arts and Tourism, credit will be granted for completion of a vocational-technical center program in food trades. Interested applicants should consult with the Dean for complete details.
Music Applicants.Admission to the Performing Arts: Music and the Music/Business degree programs is on a selective basis. Applicants are required to audition successfully in music reading and applied music before acceptance into either program.
Applicants should schedule an audition appointment and request audition information by calling the School of Music between 8:30 A.M. and noon, Monday through Friday at (518) 381-1231.
Due to course scheduling, students initiating either music degree program in a term other than the fall semester may require more than four semesters for completion.
