Office of AdmissionsTransfer Admissions to SCCCOffice of Admissions Home Page The College's philosophy of Full Opportunity also applies to transfer applicants. Transfer applicants should submit the SCCC Application for Admission, and request that an official high school transcript be forwarded to the Office of Admissions. Additionally, applicants who wish to have previous college work evaluated for transfer credit must request that official transcripts from previously attended colleges be sent directly to the Office of Admissions. Transfer applicants will be considered for admission in any term for which they are eligible. However, the College cannot guarantee the availability of required courses in sequence or that the curriculum can be completed in less than two years. Generally, courses to be considered for transfer credit must carry a grade of "C" or better from an accredited college.Credit for courses taken in the armed services will be evaluated on an individual basis. Students desiring credit for courses on the basis of military service experience only should refer to the section pertaining to Credit by Examination. Courses which are applicable to the student's chosen curriculum will be determined by the appropriate department chairperson. The evaluation will be sent to the student.
