do I borrow materials from other libraries via Interlibrary Loan?
How
you borrow materials from other libraries depends upon which source or catalog
you find the material and what type of material it is. Follow the instructions
in the bulleted list of various interlibrary loans (ILLs) below. Begley
Library uses the ILLiad software for processing ILLs. If you have questions
about these instructions, please contact a reference librarian by clicking
on the "Ask a Librarian" quick link above.
- If you find a citation to an article in one of Begley Library's
online databases that is not available to you in full text, that you would
like to obtain via another library, click here for instructions.
- If you find a book in the SUNY online Union Catalog you would
like to borrow, click here for instructions.
- If you find a book in the WorldCat online catalog you would
like to borrow, click here for instructions.
- If you are not using any online catalog but have a citation
for a book or article that you know Begley Library does not own, but you
would like to borrow from another library, click here for instructions.
- If you are a SCCC distance learner and find a book in Begley
Library's Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) you would like have us photocopy
(from one page up to a maximum of one chapter) and send to you, click here for instructions.
