About Library Instruction
- Instruction is appropriate for classes that are working on research assignments.
- Instruction is most successful when it’s scheduled to occur early on in the research process.
- The Librarian working with your class will need 2 weeks advance notice and a copy of the assignment your students are working on to prepare for your class.
- Librarians incorporate active learning techniques and hands-on activities into instruction sessions whenever possible.

Orientation is appropriate for classes or groups who are not working on research assignments, but want an introduction to the library. To schedule and instruction or orientation session, please contact:
