SCCC Chairwoman Reappointed to National Organization

Denise Murphy McGraw to Serve Again on Community College Trustees Governance and Bylaws Committee

SCCC Board of Trustees Chairwoman Denise Murphy McGraw was reappointed to the Association of Community College Trustee's (ACCT) Governance and Bylaws Committee. Representing SCCC amongst the committee's 13 members, McGraw is the only New York State appointed member. She has helped set the organization's agenda for the past two years.

"I congratulate Chairwoman McGraw on her reappointment to this prestigious national committee," said SCCC President Dr. Quintin Bullock, "It is a testament to her outstanding leadership capabilities."

ACCT is the nonprofit educational organization of governing boards, representing more than 6,500 elected and appointed trustees of community, technical, and junior colleges in the United States and beyond. ACCT works to strengthen the capacity of these institutions to foster the realization of their missions through effective board leadership at local, state, and national levels.
