CANDIDATES WANTED! The Student Government Association is seeking individuals for the following seats for the Spring 2014 Semester: Treasurer, Senior Senator (1) and Freshmen Senator (4). Interested candidates may pick up petitions for election from the SGA Office (222H) or Student Affairs (ELS-222). Completed petitions are due to Student Affairs (ELS-222) by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 7. No late petitions will be accepted. FEBRUARY

5th - KENTUCKY DERBY INTERNSHIP (for Food Concessions & Dining Services) - Presentation at 3:30PM in Stockade Building, Room 102. Candidates must attend the presentation in order to sign up for interviews immediately afterwards or on the following day. Bring a resume and an unofficial transcript (found in "My SCCC" portal/registration) to the presentation in order to sign up for an interview. Must have completed 12 credits and in good academic standing. Students will be in Louisville, KY from April 27-May 4. Missed classes must be worked out with professors in advance. FREE Home Health Aide Training provided by Living Resources for positions throughout the Greater Capital Region. The class starts Monday, May 5 th and ends Thursday, May 22 nd 2014. 23rd - GRADUATE STUDIES PANEL - 9:30am - 11:30am in Stockade Building, Room 101. Coordinated by SUNY Delhi @ SCCC. The academic institutions that will be present include;
Excelsior College, Albany Law School, SUNY Albany School of Social Work, St. Rose Graduate Studies, Union Graduate Studies, Rochester Institute of Technology , Western New England University School of Law, Kaplan Test Prep & Admissions. The flow of the morning will allow each representative to briefly discuss their Graduate programs.  We will also have an individual from Kaplan Testing present to discuss preparation for LSTATS, GMATS, and GRE's.  After each representative speaks, we will have a break out period where each college will be set up to share their college materials and to individually speak with students. 

23rd - MEXICAN RADIO JOB FAIR - Wednesday, April 23rd from 9am-6pm. Our address is 325 State Street in downtown Schenectady. We are hiring experienced Bartenders, Servers, Food Runners, Hosts, Line Cooks, Prep Cooks and Dishwashers. On this date, just walk in and be prepared to interview.
