HOT275 Marketing for the Hospitality Profession (3-0-3)

This course concentrates on marketing for the operation of a hospitality business. The course focuses on the development of a marketing plan for an existing business. It covers the areas of marketing including public relations, publicity, advertising, sales, and SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis for a hospitality business. It introduces and analyzes current and emerging trends of electronic media and their impact in the hospitality profession.
