Biology Concentration

The mission of the Science A.S. Biology Concentration degree program is to prepare students for transfer to a baccalaureate program in Biology by providing foundational coursework in biological, chemical and physical sciences and mathematics.

Program Learning Outcomes

Students will:

• Apply biological and chemical principles to explain the structure, function, and interactions of living systems.
• Analyze experimental data and apply quantitative reasoning to investigate biological phenomena.
• Integrate interdisciplinary scientific knowledge to explore and solve complex biological problems.
