The Mathematics and Science A.S. transfer program prepares graduates to transfer to baccalaureate programs in mathematics, one of the physical sciences, engineering, or related disciplines by providing students with a solid foundation in both mathematics and science.
Program Learning Outcomes
Students will:
- Apply and justify mathematical reasoning to solve quantitative problems in science, mathematics and applications.
- Analyze scientific data and apply the scientific method to investigate natural phenomena.
- Synthesize interdisciplinary knowledge and construct evidence-based arguments to address complex scientific and mathematical problems.
