How to Register for a SUNY Schenectady College in the High School Course

Registration for Fall and Full-Year Courses Begins September 14, 2026

Step 1

Students should try to register for all CHS classes (and scholarship) at once. Once registration is completed, students will be billed for the cost of their CHS course at a rate of $76 per credit. This is 1/3 the cost of SUNY Schenectady County Community College tuition. Bills will be sent to the student’s address that is on file with instructions on how to pay. 

Find registration and payment deadlines in the Important Dates and Deadlines Calendar. Online registration must be submitted by October 14, 2026.

Step 2

Tuition Information

• Students will be charged $228 for a 3 Credit Course and $304 for a 4 Credit Course.
• Payment is due by November 2, 2026.
• Tuition Invoices will be mailed home with payment instructions. 
• Find payment and tuition assistance deadlines in the Important Dates and Deadlines Calendar. 

Step 3

Submit a Certificate of Residence by the date found in the Important Dates and Deadlines Calendar. 

• All non-Schenectady County residents need to submit a Certificate of Residence.
