Carolyn Slezak teaches at Skano Elementary School in the Shenendehowa district. Her responsibilities include grades 1-5 general music and 4/5 chorus. She also directs a grade 5 Orff Ensemble. Miss Slezak received her Masters degree in Music Education from Kent State University, Bachelor's Degree from the Crane School of Music, and Associates Degree from SUNY Schenectady. Miss Slezak holds certification in all levels of Orff Schulwerk as well as Feierabend First Steps in Music and Conversational Solfege Levels I and II. She has served as president and vice-president and is the current co-president of the Berkshire-Hudson Valley Chapter of the American Orff-Schulwek Association.
